Winterthur Life invest almost half a million to extend it’s Business Process Management solution from Phoenix Technology Group

Winterthur Life extends its commitment to customer service by improving its service administration with developments from Phoenix Technology Group.

Dublin, November 2005 – Winterthur Life UK, one of the UK’s leading insurance firms, has signed a deal with Phoenix Technology Group, provider of process, content and records management solutions, to enhance its existing customer service systems and roll the solution out to an additional 100 users. The system will improve customer service in support of A-Day regulation, provide enhanced management information to support the IFAs and ultimately increase the level of service offered by Winterthur. The success of the initial implementation which went live in 2000, has assured that the new roll-out will bring further benefits to Winterthur Life UK, maximising the use and investment in existing IT infrastructure.

The Phoenix solution, already deployed within the customer administration centre has provided significant cost savings and productivity improvements. New compliance legislation and the drive to provide superior support to the IFA business led Winterthur Life UK to review their internal processes and procedures to determine what was required to meet their business expansion plans.

Phoenix Technology Group was chosen because of their excellent track-record within Winterthur Life UK, their in-depth knowledge and experience in insurance, and their ability to deliver projects quickly at fixed costs. The new solution will enable faster, more efficient handling of service requests and improved customer service processes at Winterthur Life UK, improving management of the overall administration function and the flexibility to grow the business as required.
