September 2001 - LBS Group, Germany's largest building society, recently signed a major contract with Dublin based Phoenix Technology Group and German partner CENIT AG Systemhaus.
The contract is for the supply of a customer content management system designed to boost customer service and productivity.
After the successful first phase implementation for 100 users in Kiel, LBS has "gone live" with a further 100 users in its Saarbrucken office.
Lars Busch comments "Even though we knew the first phase of the implementation in Kiel was a great success, we have delighted with the take-up to the new system by the employees in Saarbrucken. They really feel the system has improved their ability to service customers, it also makes organising and execution of their day-to-day tasks so much easier".
By January 2002 Phoenix will have rolled out the solution to 550 LBS employees across three different locations within Germany, the third "go live" date for Hannover will take place in mid august. Kiel is already being used as a reference site for other building societies looking fir similar solutions, having gone live only two months ago.
LBS chose the IDT standard packaged solution because management believed that adopting a packaged implementation combines low risk with proven technologies. The packaged approach also guarantees continual improvement, driven by product updates & enhancements, keeping apace with technological advancements.
The Phoenix solution will enable LBS to manage high volume transaction relationships with customers regardless of the media format they choose to use. The solution will empower business managers with the flexibility to configure and control departmental or organisational work procedures, the rules for distribution and allocation of work and resources, all through a user-friendly desktop.
Overall LBS will achieve over 30% increased productivity and enhanced customer service, users will have a single view of each customer, enabling them to handle more tasks at first contact. With multiple access to documents across departments reduction in operational costs will also be a key benefit.
